We know that supporting the arts is absolutely critical to a healthy community.
The arts strengthen our economy, help unify communities, improve well-being, retain residents, beautify our city, drive tourism and revenue to local businesses, improve student academic performance, positively impact mental health, and spark creativity and innovation in all of us.
The arts are essential. And we’re here to help.
Why We’re Here
The Jackson Arts Council is the only organization in Madison County that serves as a central hub of support and resources for arts groups and artists. We provide necessary services to help strengthen arts and culture in our community. With the support of each individual contributor to the organization, we provide:
Necessary and critical funding for the arts in our region
Arts Coalition networking and professional development opportunities for arts leaders
Marketing and communications services for the arts
Arts education programming
Resources for the community to connect to the arts
Arts advocacy, locally, state-wide, and nationally for our region

We can only support the arts with the help of our community that we serve. Consider making a donation of any amount today using the link above, and we’ll send you a free “Arts Supporter” decal to proudly display your support of the arts!

Volunteer
Are you interested in helping us promote arts events? Do you want to be an arts advocate in the community? Do you want to help with community arts programming? Then we need you! Click the link above and let us know that you’d like to sign up to be a regular volunteer.
Attend Arts Events
One of the best ways you can support the arts in our community is go to them! Keep up with our calendar of events and go to the events that interest you.
Arts Backstage
Arts Backstage is the Jackson Arts Council’s annual fundraiser. All ticket sales from this event go directly to help support the arts. Get your tickets to the event, or contact us if you are interested in sponsoring the event or donating a silent auction item!
Endowment
The Jackson Arts Council Endowment was established in 2017 to "Connect and Strengthen the Arts" in Jackson. Each year the Jackson Arts Council sees an increase in grant funding requests from community arts organizations. Earnings from the endowment, established through the West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation, will be used to enhance the grant programs of the Council. Consider giving a gift to the Jackson Arts Council Endowment by visiting the Foundation's website. Under "Designation" change the drop down to "Enter Fund Name" and enter JAC Endowment.
